Gear bits from Sea Otter
I know I’ve been lax with the updates but it’s because I’ve been, uhhh, busy with stuff around the shop and elsewhere.
A little while back, I made mention of the ‘08 Norco Shore and the ‘08 Atomik and, for those who didn’t realize, the news came from the Sea Otter Classic. Aside from a weekend of events and racing that features many of the world’s top professionals, the Sea Otter Classic is the place many manufacturer’s use to give the bike-buying public access to their latest and greatest. I’ve thrown together a quick list of links to writeups that’ll keep you going for a while.

CyclingNews.com. As always, an awesome source for gearheads, CyclingNews.com has the latest on the new Hayes Stroker and the changes made by Fox on their forks for 2008.
nsmb.com. There’s also a good shot of the ‘08 Shore frame in the bike writeup for Sea Otter.
pinkbike.com. pinkbike.com has a solid writeup on the ‘08 lineup from SRAM’s brands. The X0 rear derailleur looks even better, and all of the rear shocks look pretty cool too.
