Trail day at the Woodlot, 10 June 2007

The FVMBA is holding its first trail day at the Woodlot next Sunday (10 June 2007). We’ll be working on Giant Killer to redirt berms, refinish transitions, haul rocks into new spots, and a whole bunch more. Full entry »

The brief break that follows the Sea Otter Classic ended last weekend when the first UCI World Cup DH and 4x races were held in Vigo, Spain. Tough, variable conditions during the men’s DH produced a surprise winner and kept the top pros on the edge, but it sounds like the race was relatively well-rounded. Full entry »

Wednesday night rides start on 16 May 2007

Just a quick update on the group rides: we’ll be starting our evening rides up next week so all of you who have been waiting for better light can head out after work or school. Take a look at the 2008 Shimano Deore XT lineup

I know that Shimano`s derailleur lineup has taken a hard hit on the cred front over the past couple of years, mostly because SRAM’s X series are so well-suited to the type of riding we do around here.
