Trail day at the Woodlot, 10 June 2007

The FVMBA is holding its first trail day at the Woodlot next Sunday (10 June 2007). We’ll be working on Giant Killer to redirt berms, refinish transitions, haul rocks into new spots, and a whole bunch more. This means that the group ride for that day is cancelled and we’d like to see all of our club members show up and pitch in on the trail.

The start time is the same as our normal group rides — show up before 9:30 and be ready to leave the parking area at 9:30am sharp — but we’d prefer if you didn’t bring your bikes along. There’s going to be a tonne of people out and we don’t want to have a billion bikes laying around on the trail. Bring a set of work gloves if you can. If you arrive late, head to the BOTTOM of Giant Killer and someone will tell you where to go from there.

Also, food and refreshments will be provided by a couple of local shops (MRC and Experience Cycling). Expect to be out for about 3 - 3.5 hours (we will wrap things up around 12:30pm - 1:00pm.
