2008 Norco Shore 2

Norco redesigned the entire Shore series of bikes for 2008, and they’re starting to trickle into the shop. Designed specifically for the rigours of BC riding, the Shore bikes are meant to take abuse at our region’s bike parks or on the trails at the Woodlot, at Vedder, or on the Shore (duh!).
Check out this bike in the shop!
As of this writing, we have an ‘08 Shore 2 (medium) in stock and it looks and feels great. Come on in and have a look, sit down on the bike and get a feel for Norco’s new breed of full-on freeride bike.
Features
Featuring awesome-looking hyrdroformed frame tubing, a 1.5″ headtube, and great standover, the Shore 2 is easy to move around and even easier to bomb down hill. It’s got a Marzocchi 66 RV (170mm) fork up front and a DHX 3.0 with Boost Valve and factory-tuned Propedal (181mm rear wheel travel) to get you over the largest of hits, whether you’re into freeride, downhill, or both. Sun Demon hubs laced to WTB Laser Disc FR rims will keep you rolling and take a good amount of abuse, and Kenda Nevegals help keep the Shore 2 glued to the ground when you need it most.
Other highlights include: Juicy 5 disc brake, a 150×12mm Maxle rear end, Truvativ Hussefelt crankset, a Blackspire Stinger chain retention device, X7 shifters and rear derailleur.
