2008 Premium BMX lineup
This year is the first year that Premium Products is offering a full BMX lineup and we’re more than happy to be carrying the brand. The bikes are top flight out of the box, with great graphic schemes and solid parts specs. The best thing about this line is that there are bikes built for six year old rippers or you young bucks who will be shredding the new bowl by Thomas Haney.
Premium: Four Carat
As the mac daddy of the Premium Products lineup, the Four Carat has everything you’d expect from a top flight BMX: full cro-mo frame and fork, sealed bearing hubs laced to 36H Alienation rims, 3 piece Premium Lite crankset with a one piece driver and 28/10 gearing, and 120 PSI Premium Street tires.
And if you’re not into the pimpin’ decals, you can take them off for a stealth-looking ride…
Premium: Solo
The Solo might be the entry-level 20″ in the Premium lineup, but it packs a punch that isn’t matched by too many bikes out there. Featuring the same frame as the top of the line Four Carat, Premium didn’t skimp on the parts spec at all: full cro-mo frame and fork, Alienation rims laced to 36H hubs (cassette), 33/12 gearing, and a micro-adjust seatpost.
The Solo is ready for all of the abuse you can throw at it, and it’ll save you enough cash to replace stuff you destroy when you’re out on the street.
Premium Lite Wheelset
The Premium Lite wheels are pretty sweet, with 14G spokes (and a single red spoke for added pimposity), sealed bearing 36H hubs, and Sun Big City Lite rims. There are a bunch of different colour options, so you’ll be able to find something that looks rad with your setup.
