2008 Norco Fluid: singletrack ninja

The Norco Fluid is a bike that everyone should own. It’s more than enough to satisfy the ‘weekend warrior’ who likes to get out for long climbs with twisty, singletrack interludes but, under a skilled rider, it’s also versatile enough to really shred on a wide range of terrain. Thanks to relaxed angles and about 130mm (5″) of front and rear wheel travel, the bike floats over challenging terrain on the way down without giving up too much on the climb.
The Fluid is available in four trim levels, starting with the Fluid One ($3899) and trickling down to the Fluid Four ($1509). Each model shares the exact same frame, which means the price difference between models comes down to components specifications. For example, the Fluid One is kitted out with high-end suspension parts from Fox and Rock Shox and a full sampling from Shimano’s workhorse performance group (Deore XT), whereas the Fluid Four features lower-priced gear that retains many of the performance benefits of higher end stuff.
We’ve got a couple of Fluids in the shop for you to check out! Drop in and ask about the bike!
